Raquel Hinman chats with me about outsourcing social media to an assistant.  She is the Principal of Hinman Financial Planning a fee only firm in Erie, Colorado. Having someone else represent your brand is scary and one of the most difficult parts of running a small business.  At the same time you want to focus on your clients and other revenue generating activities. Raquel shares what it means to have this assistant and how she ensures that the assistant only posts in a compliant manner.

In this episode you'll learn:

  • How to have someone else represent the face of your business
  • How to work with a virtual assistant
  • How to seamlessly provide compliant content for them to post
  • How having an assistant supports her work-life balance
  • Using Facebook to find clients
  • How to get started
This episode will help you find and qualify the right person to represent your brand.  How she balances the importance to find leads versus managing her online reputation and brand.

What I liked most:

I loved hearing about how Raquel's assistant helps her find clients while Raquel focuses on her business.  I think that the relationship between an advisor and their brand representative is a delicate balance and that it is very cool to see her be able to outsource her voice in a way that builds her business. Outsourcing social media is essential to build business but I see many firms doing this ineffectively or badly.  It's important to know who you are trying attract and where they are going to want to find you in order to magnetize your ideal client.
